The touch digitizer went out on my original display. The dealership wants over $2k for an entire head unit. This was an easy enough install (though be careful removing the wire ribbons, as I broke my connector off the board and had to solder it back on) Without that hiccup, it would've taken me less than an hour to install. Definitely recommend for anyone with a digitizer that is going out.

As good as OEM, if not better!
I just finished swapping the OEM Toshiba LCD display touchscreen with another one.
Chances are if you're looking at this, you probably have a non-responsive navigation screen (or worse). On one extreme, you can fix the broken circuit or replace the digitzer (<$75) and on the other extreme you can pay somebody else to do something WAY too expensive (like swap out the entire navigation system).
But for those of us with a skill level slightly above what it takes to assemble a computer, but don't want to mess with glue and solder, the digitizer swapout is more than doable. There are definitely a fair number of tiny screws and delicate plastic connectors (the size of rice grains), but it CAN be done by hand as long as you're careful.
Do your homework (YouTube videos and Toyota Prius forums), take pictures as you go along so you don't forget anything, and you'll be fine.

Saved so much money doing a DIY fix with this.
The navigation/control screen on my 2008 Prius stopped responding to touch. This is commonly caused by a faulty ribbon connector on the touch screen. I removed the console, took it apart, and attempted to repair it with a solder pen. Ultimately I couldn’t fix it so I decided to order this replacement screen. The new screen showed up well ahead of the shipping schedule and was a direct replacement for the old one. Once I had the console reassembled and installed back into the car, I reconnected the car battery and turned the car on. The moment of truth had arrived... I touched the navigation screen and it finally worked. This was a fairly painless fix. The Toyota Prius dealership wanted several thousand dollars to replace the entire console so this saved me a bunch of money. This looks and performs the same as the original touch screen.

Worked like a charm. No problem. All I did was look on YouTube and watched a couple different videos.

My touch screen had been unresponsive for more than a year. I watched a couple videos- decided to give this a shot, works like new! Took a couple hours, but I have zero experience, so if you are familiar with taking apart dashboards etc, it would be even easier. Saved hundreds!

Extremely happy this replacement touchscreen was as described, super reasonably priced, delivered sooner than expected and was able to fix the problem. We ordered it for a 2006 toyota prius to replace a cracked screen. Reliable Seller. We would use this seller again.

Disassembled the display. In youtube there is a video how to understand. The old screen warmed by my wife's hair dryer. There is glue on top and bottom along the edge. Without a hair dryer, the glass will crumble. With the blade, I did. The difference from the original only with a lace (on a custom it is shorter) but thank God to the contact approached the norms without tension. In short, changed and norms .. I put it on the car and... All good. Works. New touch glossy .. Prius 20 American 2007 G. Recommend.

This works great. I was really surprised that the clarity and resolution is much better than the OEM screen. Installs very easily with assistance from YouTube how-to videos

Plug and Play. Took me about 1 1/2 hour to install. So simple a weekend warrior can do it. Got my 08 prius screen working again.
